- Members will have an opportunity to connect with each other and with members of the Moscow Friendship Force club during the five-day homestay, while enjoying the cultural and historical highlights of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
- FF Moscow will host a farewell party where we will all enjoy a cruise on the St. Petersburg canals the night prior to departure.

Wed., August 1
The Moscow Club will arrange for our transfer from the airport to the center of the city where we will be met by our home hosts.
The remainder of the day will be an opportunity to rest, acclimate to the time change, and get to know your home hosts.
Thurs., August 2
Bus tour of Moscow and visit to the Tretyakov Art Gallery, with English-speaking guide (fees will apply).
Fri., August 3
Tour around the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Monastery
(the center of the Russian Orthodox Church) at Sergiev Posad, 70 km outside of Moscow.
As a continuation of this trip, we may opt to visit Pereyaslavl Zalessky, one of the oldest towns in Russia. It would involve chartering a bus and a driver to tour around the town, with dinner at a fairy-tale “Berendey Kingdom” and a folk show. The total for this optional tour would be only $60.
Sat., August 4
Tour around Kremlin.
Tour also includes visits to the Cathedrals (with English-speaking guides, plus entrance fees) and a visit to the Armory Museum ($25 per person).
Attend a farewell party hosted by your new friends in the FF Moscow club!
Sun., August 5
We’ll go to the train station and depart Moscow by high-speed train to arrive about 3.5 hours later in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg.
From the train station, we’ll head to our three-star hotel for check in.
Mon., August 6
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy a tour of the city, to include a visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress.
Then, after lunch, we’ll tour St. Isaac’s Cathedral.
Tues., August 7
Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Peterhof, Peter the Great’s summer palace, for a tour of the palace and the surrounding, beautifully designed parks and fountains.
Following lunch, we’ll tour the “Great Tsarskoe Selo” or Catherine’s Palace, known as “The Russian Versailles.”
Wed., August 8
After breakfast in the hotel, we will tour the Hermitage, a St. Petersburg “must-see.”
Later, we will enjoy a cruise on the St. Petersburg canals.
Thur., August 9
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the train station to depart St. Petersburg to travel to Moscow and stay overnight at a hotel near the airport.
Fri., August 10
Return home or continue with independent travel.

- Weather should be fair, with temperatures between 73-83°F (23-28°C) during the day.
- Estimated hotel costs are based on double-occupancy. Add $195 USD for single occupancy in the St. Petersburg hotel.
